P for Pancakes

Pancakes are one of our family’s favourite breakfast on any day. We introduced C to pancakes around 10months (I think) and because she has yet to turn one, eggless pancakes it is! Daddy googled for a simple recipe which made such amazingly fluffy pancakes and we have been using it ever since. Sometime when C was around 18months, we started to get C to join us in making the pancakes. So for Letter P, how can we not make pancakes? Look who’s excited to make some? 

To make simple eggless pancakes, you will need:

  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Water
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter

1. Pour in the flour into a mixing bowl.

2. Scoop a teaspoon of sugar.

and add into the mixing bowl.

3. Add 2 teaspoons of baking powder.

4. Pour in 1 cup of milk,

5. 1 tablespoon of oil,

6. water, vanilla essence, melted butter and give it a good stir whisk.

7. Heat up the pan. When the pan hot enough, pour in a ladleful of batter. Cook until bubbles appear on the face of the pancake.

8. Flip the pancake and cook until it is golden brown.

Enjoy your pancakes!

This is a basic pancake recipe. You can also add in ground cinnamon, or lavender, or cocoa powder to add some twist to your own pancakes.
